I recommend that you use a different computer to download this tool because sometimes infected machines prohibit the download of Malware removal tools. Save it to an USB Memory Stick and transfer it to the infected machines.
Start your Web Browser and Google for Malwarebytes and only download it from the www.bleepingcomputer.com website as shown in the screen-shot below. It’s the first link in the search results.
Now you should see something like in the Screen-shot below. Click on the blue box “Download Now @BleepingComputer”
Click on “Save File”
After the download is done start you Explorer by clicking on the icon shown below.
Navigate to your Downloads folder and double click on the MBAM-Setup as shown below.
For Security purposes Windows asks you if you like to “Run” the downloaded Software. Click on “Run”
The installer starts, select your language and click ok
The installation wizard starts, click next
Accepts the license agreement and click next
You can read through the improvements and click next
keep the default path and click next
check the box if not checked in order to create a desktop short-cut and click next
confirm the settings and click Install
the installation progresses
after the installation is done un-check the top check box unless you are interested in buying the product for active protection. Click Finish
The Scanner starts up and looks for updates on the internet. This might take a minute
after the update is done click on scan now and you will see the scanning progress
the scan can take a while
as soon as the scan is done it will present you it’s findings. Click on remove selected
When the removal is done it will display a message and also lets you know that the system will be rebooted in order to remove everything. Click yes to finish
